On a nice day Adam takes two naps, one in the morning and one in the late afternoon, for an hour and a half to two hours each. This doesn't normally happen because unfortunately Adam is a light sleeper and he doesn't always go back to sleep easily after he wakes up.
Today, Friday, he had a glorious three plus hours of sleeping and nursing. He nursed to sleep around 11:15 then stirred and nursed a little more several times until we had to go to the bus stop at 2:30 for his sisters. I got a little antsy to get up and do laundry and put things away and pick up toys and what not during that time but as all my other children were in school it was easy to remind myself how fast time goes and how childhood is fleeting and all, so I just held him, nursed him, napped a little, and watched part of Hoosiers, which was my dad's favorite movie and I had never seen any of it.
It was a nice long nap.
