crashing computer make me cry

my computer crashed a few weeks back and i thought i lost all my photos since may 2012. we found a place who was able to get my pictures off my hard drive. they put them on an external drive and we bought that and ever since i've been putting my pictures on that drive. a couple days ago that drive died. *sob* other than a few pictures on facebook and some i printed and what i have here i have lost all the pictures of my children from roughly april 2012 to november 1012. now i am backing them up like crazy, burning dvds right away, uploading to facebook and photobucket. it makes me so sick to think of the loss of photos that i just cannot do it...
