For the rest of my life this will be one of my favorite pictures of my son, Adam. This was very shortly after we first saw him after he had open heart surgery. I looked at him and I did not feel scared, he was alive, his heart was fixed, he made it through the surgery. I felt anxious to get him in my arms and feed him, but he was there and it was a relief. I love this picture. Look at my strong boy, only 4 months and 11 days old, going through something most people never go through in their lives, what a strong and amazing boy!!
