Not being able to hold him for several hours after surgery was torture. I came into the room to see how he was doing and found my husband holding him! Gasp! Stinker! I fussed at him teasingly and then took the baby and fed him and he latched right on. I had worried not nursing for so long would effect our breastfeeding relationship but it did not.
