Today was Adam's six month check, he also got all the six month shots, the last Synagis shot and part one of a flu shot, which I thought was strange since it's mid-March. He got two shots in each leg and one oral vaccine. Poor baby.
His weight is 14 pounds 10 ounces, which I am wondering if there was an error on the scale because that means from February 24th to March 13th he gained one pound and 4.5 ounces, that seems like a lot in less than three weeks. February 24th he was weighed on a digital scale and March 13th on a manual scale, the kind with the slides.
Anyway, he is still only nursing but his pediatrician seemed to think I should start solids before I "miss the window for him to learn how to eat solids" I like my pediatrician, but that sounds a little goofy to me.
Adam is sleeping right now and I want to go pick him up. He is such a doll.
