Bits and pieces of the baby days of my fourth and last child and the only little boy in our household. Adam was born with a Congenital Heart Defect, he had open-heart surgery at 4 months and 11 days, came home after 4 days and has been gaining weight on breast milk ever since. To say he is a pleasure, a joy, a miracle, a wonder, my favorite boy in the whole world, ... all understatements!

Breastfeeding Tip #3
Do not doubt yourself. You have breasts and they make milk. You don't question if your lungs know how to take in oxygen or if your eyes know how to do all that sciency stuff to see or if your feet know how to alternate moving so you can walk, nor should you question if you are making enough milk.
When your baby wakes up feed her, when she fusses feed her, when you feel like it's been a while feed her. She won't always want to nurse, but she may.
Trust trust trust your body! Mammals have been feeding their young for a lot of years, a LOT, you can do it too!
